The Just Shall Live By Faith
Hebrews 10:38
Reflection of the Week
Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Spirit had given commandment unto the apostles whom he had chosen. Acts 1:2
Victory Follows Obedience
As Luke shared the record of the early church, he made it clear that the instructions to the apostles continued after the ascension of Jesus. After He ascended, He continued, through the Holy Spirit, to guide and direct. Their walk was a close one, allowing them to hear. They heard, and they obeyed.
Though Jesus is not walking on Planet Earth any longer, instructions are still coming out of Heaven. It is the Holy Spirit that now directs us. Your walk must be such that you are able to hear what is being said. As He directs, be attentive and respond. Victory will follow your obedience.
